TerpCorps MPACT Retreat!

TerpCorps is an organization on campus that hosts monthly service days for the University community. Next month we are also hosting a special retreat for leaders of service organizations called MPACT. The aim of this retreat is to explore leadership techniques that are most effective for leading an organization while also critically thinking about the service we are doing. The retreat will include seminars on leading educational and reflection activities, marketing, motivating participants and members, among others. In the past, MPACT has proven to be a great resource for student groups to network with other organizations who go on to host joint events. It is also an effective way to meet with and get information about community partners in the surrounding area who love working with Maryland students.

The retreat will depart on October 5 at 4:30 pm and return on October 6 at 8 pm. MPACT will take place at the Arlington Echo site in Millersville, Maryland. Transportation, food, lodging, and t-shirts will be provided.
To register, please visit http://thestamp.umd.edu/student_involvement/lcsl/events/m-pact_retreat

TerpCorps request that those who register be OFFICERS and LEADERS in their respective organization and a limit of three individuals can attend per organization.

This event is completely free, however if you do register and do not show up on October 5 your student account will be charged for the costs of the retreat.
