Undergraduate Research Assistant Position
Maryland Psychotherapy Clinic and Research Lab (MPCRL)

Description:
The Maryland Psychotherapy Clinic and Research Lab (MPCRL) provides high-quality, low-cost counseling and psychotherapy to adults in the Prince George's, Montgomery County, and Washington, D.C. area. Our treatment focuses on insight and understanding difficulties in relationship problems, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, meaning of life, dreams, and nightmares.

Responsibilities:
-Greeting the clients
-Preparing the rooms for the counseling sessions
-Taking the clients to complete measures
-Backing up data and transcribing therapy sessions
-Code research that is going on at the clinic among other things
Qualifications:
-Should be interested in research
-Should be interested in psychotherapy
-Knowledge from Basic Helping Skills class is a plus (not required)
-You can work for credit or volunteer
