Description:
The Motivated Cognition Lab is recruiting hardworking undergraduates with enthusiasm for psychological research. The lab is hiring 1-2 new research assistants for the spring semester (starting mid-January). Undergraduate research assistants will have the opportunity to learn about many aspects of research design and experimentation. Research assistant tasks involve running experiments, preparing study materials,managing participant scheduling, and conducting literature reviews. Preference will be given to those candidates with previous experience in social psychology (i.e., those who have taken psychology classes or have some prior lab experience). Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in social psychology (through coursework or a prior RAship). Responsibilities:
-Recruiting participants
-Running experiments
-Literature reviews
-Some data entry
-6-9 hour per week commitment
