Research Assistant Positions
CAPER Lab
(Center for Addictions, Personality, and Emotion Research)

Description:
The Center for Addictions, Personality, and Emotion Research (CAPER) within the UMD Psychology Department is seeking undergraduate research assistants for a study examining risky sexual behavior in a sample of undergraduate students. Flexible hours are offered, but preference will be given to students who can commit a minimum of 6 hours per week. Research assistants who are Psychology majors have the option of earning PSYC479 credit, with 2 credits for 6 hours per week and 3 credits for 9 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
-Running participants
-Preparing study materials
-Data entry

Qualifications:
-PSYC100 and PSYC200 or relevant experience coursework in social science- or health-related fields
-GPA of 3.0 or higher
-Dependability, punctuality, enthusiasm, professionalism, and interpersonal skills
-Experience working with Microsoft Excel and SPSS is preferred, but not necessary
