Lab for Early Social Cognition
Summer 2016

The Lab for Early Social Cognition (PI: Dr. Jonathan Beier) is looking for undergraduate research assistants to start for SUMMER 2016. The Lab investigates social and cognitive development primarily in young children and also conduct research with adults. Additionally, the lab is interested in a range of phenomena including the understanding of other people’s mental states and social relationships.

Responsibilities:
-Two semester commitment
-15-20 hours/week in summer; 10 hours/week during school year
-Contacting families in the area to participate in studies
-Scheduling families to come into the lab
-Updating our database
-Assist in eye tracking and behavioral studies
-Code data
-Attend lab meetings

Qualifications:
-Strong academic standing
-Strong communication skills
-Professionalism
-Interest in developmental psychology
