The Association for Psychological Science (APS) is seeking candidates for an internship in its Membership Department. The opportunity is open to undergraduate or graduate students pursuing a degree in psychology, marketing, communications, or a related field. To the extent possible, the position may be tailored to the individual’s specific academic interests. Candidates should have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Experience with Microsoft Access desirable.

The internship allows for flexible hours, and is based in the Dupont Circle area of Washington, D.C. Activities include data entry, web research, data mining (to locate prospects for APS membership and marketing appeals), compiling lists for marketing efforts, working with messaging for promotions, proofreading, and other duties. The intern will also gain exposure to APS’s public affairs and advocacy efforts that advance the field of psychological science. The length of the internship is flexible and can begin immediately.
